Account Executive

The account executive is responsible for the sale of the organization's products and services, through lead generation, referrals, and current customers. The account executive is expected to maintain certain quotas as defined by the CEO and sales manager and will be measured throughout the year accordingly.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to,
the following:

  • Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a client to securing and closing a contract
  • Create detailed prospecting plans to facilitate the attainment of goals and quotas
  • Unearth new sales opportunities through networking and lead generation to turn them into long-term partnerships
  • Present products and services to prospective clients both in person and through web presentations
  • Provide professional after-sales support to enhance the customers’ dedication
  • Remain in frequent contact with the clients in your care to understand their needs
  • Respond to complaints and resolve issues with the aims of customer contentment and preservation of the company’s reputation
  • Negotiate agreements and keep records of sales and data
  • Travel as needed to trade shows, and customer locations (estimated travel time less than 10%)

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

  • DEGREE IN BUSINESS

    Bachelor degree in business or related field preferred

  • SALES TECHNIQUES

    Knowledge of various recruiting and/or relationship sales techniques

  • MAINTAIN RELATIONSHIPS

    Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with customers

  • MULTI DIMENSIONAL

    Flexibility, creativity, and ability to work in a non-structured, developing work environment

  • ABSTRACT THINKER

    Demonstrated capacities to think “outside the box”, communicate, and motivate customers to adopt the company’s products, programs, and new ideas

  • MEDIA PROFICIENCY

    Proficiency in Google Suite, Salesforce, and Esri, as well as social media environments

  • EXCELLENT COMMUNICATION

    Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills

  • CUSTOMER SKILLS

    Excellent customer relationship skills
