The GIS Analyst is responsible for the implementation and support of the organization's products and services, primarily through project work. The GIS Analyst is expected to maintain certain quotas as defined by the CEO and project manager and will be measured throughout the year accordingly.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to,
the following:
Bachelor degree in GIS, geography, computer science, engineering, or a related field
Two or more years of professional experience
Must possess specialist knowledge of spatial analysis related to telecom industry
Must be proficient in the use of ESRI GIS software, ArcGIS Desktop 10.x, ArcGIS Server 10.x
Must have good time management skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office products
Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of CrescentLink® Software and the Sabal Data Model preferred. Knowledge of telecommunications network design and operation (Preferred)
Knowledge of telecommunications network design and operation (Preferred)
Proficiency with Safe Software’s FME (Preferred)
Experience administering Microsoft SQL Server (Preferred)
Experience automating ArcGIS using Python and ArcPy (Preferred)
Experience with ArcGIS Model Builder (Preferred)
Proficiency with annotation and dimension feature classes in ArcGIS geodatabases (Preferred)
Proficiency with ArcGIS online (Preferred)
Proficiency with ArcGIS Collector mobile app (Preferred)
