The systems architect is responsible for the configuration, operation, and maintenance of the organization's computer systems and networks designed to support various products and services. The systems architect is expected to support business units as defined by the CEO and engineering manager and will be measured throughout the year accordingly.
The essential functions include, but are not limited to,
the following:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar technical field, or equivalent practical experience
Experience in platform architecture, solution design, project envisioning, planning, developing, deployment, security, identity management frameworks, cloud, and scalability
Certification for AWS Solution Architect or MCSE Cloud Platform
Demonstrated ability to build, maintain, and scale cloud-based platforms
Flexibility, creativity, and ability to work in a non-structured, developing work environment
Demonstrated capacity to think “outside the box”, communicate, and motivate customers to adopt the company’s products, programs, and new ideas
Excellent oral/written communication skills, including well-developed presentation skills
Knowledge of CrescentLink® Software and the Sabal Data Model (Preferred)
Knowledge of telecommunications network design and operation (Preferred)
Knowledge of geospatial and mapping concepts such as spatial analysis, map projections, etc. (Preferred)
Experience with ESRI’s Enterprise System Design (Preferred)
Experience automating ArcGIS using Python and ArcPy (Preferred)
Experience with ArcGIS Server and ArcGIS Portal (Preferred)
Experience with ArcGIS API for JavaScript (Preferred)
