1Who we are

GEOGRAPH Technologies, LLC ("GEOGRAPH," "we," "us," or "our") develops CrescentLink, fiber network management software built as an add in for Esri ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Enterprise. We're located at 309 E Main St, Pickens, SC 29671, United States.

This policy covers geograph.tech, our customer support portal at support.geograph.tech, GEOGRAPH Academy, our webinars and events (including the GEOGRAPH User Conference), and the communications we have with prospects and customers. It does not cover the network data customers manage inside CrescentLink. Section 7 explains how that works.

2Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Contact and business details. Your first and last name, work email, phone number, company or organization name, and job role.
  • Details about your network and needs. For example, how you currently manage fiber data, the challenges you're facing, where you are in an evaluation, and anything you write in a message to us.
  • Event and training details. Registration information for webinars, the User Conference, and GEOGRAPH Academy courses, along with attendance, survey responses, and course progress.
  • Customer account and support details. Your support portal login and the tickets, files, and messages you send our support team.

Information collected automatically

  • Usage data. Pages you visit, time spent on them, the site that referred you, your browser and device type, and approximate location based on your IP address.
  • Cookies and similar technologies. Covered in section 4.

Information from other sources

  • Trade shows and events, when you share your contact details with us, such as having your badge scanned at our booth.
  • Publicly available business information, such as company websites and professional profiles like LinkedIn.
  • Referrals from customers and partners who introduce us.

We don't ask for sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health information, or financial account numbers through our website, and we ask that you don't send it to us.

3How we use it

  • To respond to you. Answer questions, schedule demos, and follow up on forms you submit.
  • To provide and support CrescentLink. Manage customer accounts, deliver training, resolve support tickets, and send product and release updates.
  • To run events and webinars. Handle registration, send reminders and recordings, and follow up afterward.
  • To send marketing email. Newsletters, webinar invitations, and resources we think are useful. You can unsubscribe anytime.
  • To improve our website and content. Learn which pages help people and fix the ones that don't.
  • To keep things secure and lawful. Prevent spam and abuse, protect our systems, and meet our legal obligations.

We don't use your information to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking essential cookies may stop some features, like forms, from working. You can also opt out of Google Analytics with Google's browser add on.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control

Because we don't sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising, browser signals like Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control don't change how our site behaves today. If that ever changes, we'll update this policy and honor those signals as the law requires.

5Service providers

We use the following providers to run our business. They process information on our behalf, under contract, and aren't allowed to use it for their own purposes.

We also use standard business tools, such as email, file storage, and accounting software, that may store contact information as part of normal operations.

6When we share information

  • With service providers listed in section 5, only to do work for us.
  • With event sponsors and exhibitors, only if you choose to. For example, by having your badge scanned at a sponsor's table or opting in during registration. We don't hand attendee lists to sponsors.
  • With partners on your project, such as an engineering firm or Esri distributor involved in your implementation, limited to the business contact details needed to coordinate, and with your knowledge.
  • For legal reasons, when required by law, court order, or a valid government request, or when needed to protect the rights, property, or safety of GEOGRAPH, our customers, or others.
  • In a business transfer, such as a merger or acquisition. If that happens, we'll let you know before your information becomes subject to a different privacy policy.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined under California law and similar state laws.

8How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes in this policy. For customers, that's the length of the relationship plus whatever period is needed afterward for legal, accounting, or dispute resolution reasons. For prospects and marketing contacts, we periodically review our records and remove contacts we no longer need.

Website analytics data is kept according to the retention settings in Google Analytics and HubSpot.

9How we protect it

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information, including encrypted connections on our website and access limited to the people who need it to do their jobs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security. If a security incident affects your personal information, we'll notify you as required by law.

10Your choices and rights

Choices everyone has

  • Unsubscribe from marketing email using the link at the bottom of any message. We'll still send service messages to customers, like support replies and important account notices.
  • Ask to see, correct, or delete the information we have about you by contacting us.

Additional rights depending on where you live

Residents of California, a growing number of other U.S. states, and the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, and Switzerland have specific legal rights over their personal information. Depending on your location, those may include:

Access

Know what personal information we've collected about you, where it came from, and who we've shared it with.

Correction

Have inaccurate information fixed.

Deletion

Ask us to delete your information, subject to legal exceptions.

Portability

Receive a copy of your information in a commonly used, machine readable format.

Opt out

Opt out of the sale of your information, sharing for targeted advertising, or profiling. We don't do any of these.

Object or restrict

Object to or limit certain processing, including direct marketing.

Appeal

Appeal our decision if we decline your request.

Equal treatment

Exercise any of these rights without being treated differently for it.

How to make a request

Email legal@geograph.tech or call (800) 674‑4803. We'll verify your identity by matching details against what we already have, and we'll respond within the time required by applicable law. You may use an authorized agent with your written permission. If we can't fulfill a request, we'll explain why and tell you how to appeal.

California residents can also ask about our disclosures under California's "Shine the Light" law. We don't share personal information with third parties for their own direct marketing purposes.

11Visitors outside the U.S.

GEOGRAPH is based in the United States, and the information we collect is processed and stored in the U.S. If you're located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract, to provide CrescentLink and related services to customers.
  • Legitimate interests, to respond to business inquiries, market to professional contacts, improve our website, and keep our systems secure.
  • Consent, where the law requires it, such as for certain marketing email and non essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
  • Legal obligation, where we must process information to comply with the law.

When information moves across borders, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as the Standard Contractual Clauses our service providers use. You also have the right to file a complaint with your local data protection authority.

12Children's privacy

Our website and services are built for businesses and aren't directed to anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

14Changes to this policy

We'll update this policy as our practices or the law change, and we'll revise the "Last updated" date at the top when we do. For significant changes, we'll post a notice on our website or email customers directly.
