Overview

CrescentLink for Pro Update 8 is a hotfix release that addresses specific issues reported by our users. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to providing a more stable and reliable experience with these changes.

Bug Fixes

1. Missing equipmentSize Field

  • Fixed Issue: Resolved an issue where the equipmentSize field would not appear in Equipment Properties under certain enterprise database conditions.
  • Impact: Users will now see equipmentSize regardless of database configurations.

2. Additional Cable Issue

  • Fixed Issue: Fixed an issue where Distance Trace would not correctly consider additional cable loops if the trace ended on a cable segment with the additional cable.
  • Impact: Users will now see correct Distance Trace results when the trace ends on a cable with an additional cable loop.

3. Fiber Count Assignment Issue

  • Fixed Issue: Corrected a problem where a warning window would sometimes appear behind the Fiber Count Assignment window, preventing users from interacting with it.
    Impact:** Users will now see the warning window on top of the Fiber Count Assignment window and be able to interact with it.

4. Project Planner Add Units Problem

  • Fixed Issue: Resolved a problem where users could not add units to a Project in Project Planner in a versioned database environment.
  • Impact: Users can now add units to Projects in versioned environments.

5. Work Order Manager Highlight Issue

  • Fixed Issue: Corrected an issue with highlighted features not being released when Work Order Manager was closed.
  • Impact: Highlighted features will be released when users close Work Order Manager.
