Georgia Transmission is a not-for-profit, transmission only electric cooperative owned by 38 of Georgia’s Electric Membership Corporations (EMCs). They plan, build and maintain the high-voltage substations and transmission lines that help deliver safe, reliable and cost-effective energy to more than 4.7 million Georgians across 70% of the state’s land area.
