EASLEY, SC – February 2, 2023 – GEOGRAPH Technologies, LLC is proud to announce Coy Potts has been appointed Senior GIS Analyst working remotely from the Chicago area and reporting into the company’s office in downtown Easley.
In his new role, Potts will work within the Professional Services Team to manage the company’s client training program and oversee and manage efforts to provide clients with an understanding of the company’s CrescentLink software and Esri’s location intelligence and mapping software. He will also
provide Geographic Information System (GIS) programming support to clients and assist with network planning and design project work. Potts will report to DJ Henrique, GEOGRAPH Co-Founder and Director of Professional Services
Potts has been with GEOGRAPH for just over a year and was previously a Customer Experience Specialist where he provided ongoing customer support for half of the company’s clients. Prior to joining GEOGRAPH he spent seven years working in increasingly responsible GIS and fiber engineering roles within the telecom industry.
Potts looks to utilize his vast experience with Esri ArcGIS and CrescentLink software to improve and
expand the GEOGRAPH training program. “I look forward to my new role at GEOGRAPH and endeavor to help our customers as they begin to enhance their digital fiber management journey” states Potts. He is particularly interested in creating training courses at different experience levels to appeal not only to new users, but to provide advanced training to those who already have some background and familiarity with the software.
Potts holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Geography from Eastern Illinois University and a Master of Science degree in GIS from Elmhurst College. He enjoys spending time with his partner, Sara, and their son, Noah. The couple is expecting their second child, a girl, in the months ahead. The family enjoys spending time visiting Disney parks and relaxing at their family cottage in northern Wisconsin.
