EASLEY, SC – May 21, 2023 – GEOGRAPH Technologies, LLC is proud to announce Chase Winters has joined the company as a GIS Technician working out of the corporate office on West Main Street in downtown Easley.
In his role, Winters will work within the Professional Services Team to provide Geographic Information Systems (GIS) data migration support to new clients utilizing the CrescentLink network management system inside Esri geospatial mapping software. Winters will report to DJ Henrique, GEOGRAPH Co-Founder and Director of Professional Services.
Winters hopes to become more familiar with Python programming language to assist with further automation of the company’s customer onboarding processes. Winters noted “I’m thrilled to be working with the GEOGRAPH team and I look forward to creating new Python scripts to further assist our customer base”.
Winters has an eight-year background working in the field of GIS. He was most recently employed as a Field Geologist by Martinez Associates, a GeoTech engineering and consulting firm in Colorado, where he was involved with materials testing and pre-construction work. Winters is also a Veteran and was affiliated with the Colorado Army National Guard. He was a Geospatial Engineer with the 1117th Space Battalion located in Colorado Springs, CO.
Winters holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Geology from Colorado State University, Warner College of Natural Resources in Fort Collins, CO. He has relocated to the Simpsonville area and in his spare time he enjoys camping, hiking, and fishing.
