Release Notes – CrescentLink for Pro Update 9 – Released on February 4, 2025

Overview

CrescentLink for Pro Update 9 is a hotfix release that includes new enhancements and addresses specific issues reported by our users. We appreciate your feedback and are committed to providing a more stable and reliable experience with these changes.

Enhancements

  • Starting with Update 9, CrescentLink now supports ArcGIS Services, enabling seamless access to externally managed GIS data and enhanced interoperability ArcGIS Enterprise. This enhancement allows users to integrate, visualize, and analyze service-based data directly within CrescentLink, improving collaboration and efficiency.
  • Starting with Update 9. Trace times have been reduced due to improving the Trace algorithm and caching methods. In most cases, users should see a 5x (or more) reduction in wait time.
  • Starting with Update 9, feature selections will have a more friendly user experience. The geographic selection will now be based on pixels. A limit has been placed on how many features are loaded, thus improving performance. An indication is presented to the user if the feature limit is reached.
  • Starting with Update 9, the window load time of the Batch Add tool has been significantly reduced. Similar to the Trace improvements, users should see a 5x reduction in wait time.
