GEOGRAPH Ribbon Cutting & Open House

GEOGRAPH moved to a new location in Easley, SC in early 2022 and celebrated with a Ribbon Cutting and Open House event to commemorate the occasion on the 4th of May. About 75 guests were in attendance including city of Easley Mayor, Butch Womack; members of Easley City Council, Jim Robinson, Terry Moore, and Pat Web; and President of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce, Cindy Hopkins.

GEOGRAPH was pleased to welcome the crowd of dignitaries, business associates, and family and friends to the event.

Bruce Smith, GEOGRAPH CEO led a short welcome ceremony where he shared how the four company co-founders came together to start the company in 2018. Members of the City of Easley also spoke, as did the President of the Easley Chamber of Commerce. The Reverend Mel Arant spoke about his connection to GEOGRAPH, and he offered a blessing of the building.

Logan Kipling, team member from Senator Lindsay Graham’s office, and Addie Paterson from Congressman Jeff Duncan’s office were also in attendance. Each said a few words to commemorate the occasion as both politicians have been supportive of rural broadband expansion in the state of South Carolina.

After the indoor ceremony, the group went outside to Main Street where Cindy Hopkins led the ribbon cutting festivities and the co-founders cut the purple ribbon to officially open the new offices.

The event lasted about three hours with exceptional catering from Reeves Catering. Amy Randall of Amy Randall Photography captured our photos.
