On August 7th, 2025, GEOGRAPH officially welcomed Bolton & Menk as a new customer. As a civil engineering firm, Bolton & Menk provides a variety of planning, engineering, and design services in both urban and rural environments.
Their story began in 1949 when university professor, John Bolton and his former student, Martin Menk, reconnected after Martin’s service in WWII. They discussed a vision for a different kind of engineering company and immediately set to work. Bolton & Menk traveled from town to town sharing their mission that continues today: creating safe, sustainable, and beautiful communities for everyone. Today, Bolton & Menk has evolved from its humble beginnings in a Midwest garage into one of the largest multi-regional engineering firms in the country. Throughout this growth, they have remained dedicated to John and Martin’s original example of providing real-world solutions through genuine, long-term relationships.
