EASLEY, SC – Nov 29, 2022 – GEOGRAPH Technologies, LLC is proud to announce Ben Capell has joined the company as a Senior GIS Analyst working out of the corporate office on West Main Street in downtown Easley.
In his role, Capell will work within the Professional Services Team to provide Geographic Information Systems (GIS) programming support to clients utilizing the CrescentLink network management system and Esri’s mapping software. He will also spend his time automating workflows to improve new customer onboarding processes. Capell will report to DJ Henrique, GEOGRAPH Co-Founder and Director of Professional Services.
Capell has a three-year background working in the field as a GIS and Data Specialist for Samaritan’s Purse and as GIS Analyst for Parker Sewer & Fire District. He has also completed an internship with Palmetto Engineering.
Capell hopes to utilize his previous experience optimizing data workflows in his new role at GEOGRAPH. He commented “I love to find solutions to complex problems by interacting with customers. I find it fascinating to utilize technology to improve processes and develop solutions”.
Capell holds a Bachelor’s of Science in Outdoor Leadership and Biology from North Greenville University in Tigerville, SC and a Master’s of Arts degree in Geography with a concentration in Geographic Information Science from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. He is married to wife Natalie and in his spare time, he enjoys hands-on projects; having built a chicken coop, bookstands, and having converted a canoe to a row boat. He also enjoys road cycling, hiking, hobby farming, and gardening.
